Partnering for Change
In the tourism industry, there are many worthwhile non-profits created and/or supported by engaged businesses. They're doing commendable work to support community development, conservation and cultural heritage preservation. The Bodhi Tree Foundation is proud to partner with these international organizations - groups that share our mission, values and strategy - to serve as their US-
based 501(c)(3) arm. Our relationship allows them greater reach among US travelers and offers those looking to donate a trusted and secure means to do so.
Chem Chem Live Wildlife Foundation
Chem Chem Safari Lodges was born out of Fabia Bausch and Nicolas Negre deep passion for Tanzania’s incredible natural heritage. Coupled with this love is an innate understanding of the area’s need for healthy, sustainable economic and social development.
In recognizing this need, Fabia and Nicolas established their non-profit foundation: LiveWildlife through which they contribute to the communities, surrounding Chem Chem’s development.
The Hide Community Trust
The Hide Community Trust is a small, non-profit organization which runs alongside The Hide Safari Camp. We work in a holistic manner with communities surrounding Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and support them by helping to come up with sustainable development initiatives.
Our aim is for the relief of poverty, the promotion of education, as well as the benefits of conservation. Together we can work to help uplift our people and improve their quality of life.
Singita Community Development Trust
Singita is committed to making a difference to local communities and to protecting the environment and wildlife. To date, multiple projects have either reached successful fruition or continue to be supported to good effect.
These largely focus on enhancing the quality of teaching in local schools; the development of vocational skills; reliable supplies of fresh water for local families; and environmental awareness, particularly amongst local youth.
Sol y Luna Association
The Sol y Luna Association is a humanitarian, holistic, non-profit civil institution, fully financed with the hotel Sol y Luna’s profits plus voluntary contributions from generous guests, friends and benefactors seamlessly connecting our hospitality business with the ‘grassroots’ of the culture and people in the Sacred Valley..
The Association is fuelled by our passion for bettering the prospects for local children and young people.
